Joel and Tommy get on some horses to go find Ellie. Along the way, they run into some trouble before getting to a ranch house. In there they Joel and Ellie have a very tense conversation.
The game follows Joel as he helps escort Ellie across the United States in a post-apocalyptic time. It begins with a zombie like outbreak that leads to the disaster.
