Well it was only a matter of time before something went wrong. We went 20 weeks without an issue and Sunday it was a bad one. Most of you have probably noticed, but our feed did not update this Sunday morning like it should have.
Early Sunday morning when trying to post the new episode, the feed Podcast only feed stopped updating. This feed would not allow our fans to get the latest episode that you wanted to listen to so bad. For some reason Google's own service (FeedBurner) stopped redirecting traffic from http to https and back causing an error in the Feedburner service that we have setup. So during my troubleshooting it was switched over to the standard Blog RSS feed that includes all our Posts on the website as well as the Podcast Episode posts. However, this RSS feed would not work with iTunes or Android apps correctly. In my testing it would play/download the file through an Android application straight from the feed and show nothing in iTunes. Today we finally switched over to another feed service and it is working again. It should reset your list again to only display the podcast episodes and hopefully keep them as read/played if they were listened to already in the past.
